Erli Fantini

Erli Fantini was born in 1944 in Sabará, State of Minas Gerais in Brazil. She graduated in 1971 from the Escola de Belas Artes of UFMG (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) in Belo Horizonte. Under the supervision of Amilcar de Castro, she created drafts of sculptures in the Atelier Núcleo Artístico (Artistic core atelier). Erli Fantini does research on ceramics and glazing. She is also well known for her long experience in teaching ceramics and promoting young artists. Since 1976, Erli Fantini runs her own atelier. Her works are presented in several collective and individual exhibitions. She is now designing in bronze and steel. For Gardeco, Erli Fantini creates the Window collection.
