Desert Vase is a hand sculpted ceramic vase designed by Belgian artist Guy Buseyne. Raw edges, a rough texture, flowing contour and a deep earthy red shade take the beholder on an mystical journey into the desert.
This design object is carefully handmade in an artisanal ceramic studio in Portugal and will add depth and height to any space.

ABOUT the designer
Guy Buseyne
Guy Buseyne (1961) is a Belgium born and based sculptor, skilful furniture maker and graphic designer who studied Plastic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in the city of Bruges. Buseyne’s work consists of sculptures that portray human beings in a society subject to multiple challenges, natural and man-made disasters, and who try to overcome them. The facial expressions in his designs are undefined, which enhances the universal character of the pieces and arouses a greater sense of identification in the viewer.
